"Nighthawks" - we are... |
To dovetail.....I get a lot of flack about my writing style, grammar etc etc and you know what, i really do not care because blogging was a hobby of mine which started in January of 2008 and has now turned into almost a full time job, i now work more hours than a resident doctor and get paid just the same (in my blogger/twitter life). And remember sellputs before "sellputs was sellputs" started as a college student studying Archeology, yes you read right; who spend most of his collegiate time teaching himself to trade and telling himself these charts make sense do something with them... Thus i am not a journalist nor do i have ever claimed to be one, i am just a fish in a sea of sharks thought i am a puffer fish, do not F with me.
I have learned blogging is about growing within a community and maintaining momentum. Momentum is something which new bloggers must understand, just as momentum traders must understand
momentum is a product of a release of potential energy which can turn on a dime. If a mainstream blogger does not post for one day, his party could be over..... ZeroHedge has taught me quiet a bit about blogging and the business end of the stick. About a year ago he told me, "blogging is a full time job"; at the time i did not believe him. Though over time is stepped up my daily postings and have realized twitter is now more of a news wire service as well as a communication medium. Ever since I "stepped up my pseudo game", traffic has increased as well as avenues of promotion etc. People do take notice...
To all those new bloggers out there; keep on plugging away it takes a hell of a lot of time to get traffic and exposure. Set goals for yourselves as far as traffic benchmarks and always reach out to other bloggers, networking is key. Putting face to names is key as well, it goes a long way.
So what the hell was i going to write about anyway? oh yeah... the DX_F just opened and put in a new high of 81.27......
Us bloggers are not in the underworld anymore... Hello world.. maybe next time a major media outlet blatantly plagiarizes one of my posts i could get some attribution, oh wait..... I'll get my time...
